Our final Multi-skills session at Lew Trenchard wrapped up this Autumn’s round of school sports just as the weather broke for the final year groups in Okehampton and Tavistock primaries. We were nostalgic for September’s bright sunshine when we began back in Simmons Park (pictured) and Whitchurch Cricket Club.
By our count, almost 900 children passed through the events from Year 2 to Year 6, with a satisfying number stating that ‘fencing was the best ever.’ How could we disagree?
We move on to the Dartmoor schools cross-country and activity day at Castle Drogo on November 12th.
