As the second half of the Summer term rolls around, West Devon Swords is out at the Devon Federation Schools annual sports jamboree, the 
Multi-skills Festival for primary age pupils.
Hosted once again at Whitchurch Cricket Club, the outfield becomes a circuit for a collection of different sports, with each group of 9-20 pupils rotating through all the sports in the course of a morning or afternoon.Last Friday saw 150 of Reception and Year 1 pupils get their shot at Olympic style sports fencing with the plastic midi-fence kit, in miraculously good weather and on dry ground. This Monday and the following week will see further year groups from around 10 schools in the Tavistock area put through their paces.
